DAY 1

Arrival in Bari Karol Wojtyla

Airport . Transfer to Hotel Masseria Rottacapozza in Ugento (or similar) . http://www.masseriarottacapozza.it . Dinner in hotel. (At own expenses)

DAY 2

A day of total rest and leisure at the Hotel SPA to get rid of the jet lag (included). It will also be possible to reach the Hotel beach for a dip in the Mediterranean Sea.

DAY 3

Transfer to the east coast of Puglia. Visit of a winery followed by lunch at their restaurant (included).In the afternoon visit the Grotta della Poesia and then the old city of Otranto. Dinner in hotel (At own expenses)

DAY 4

In the morning transfer to visit the town of Gallipoli. Free time and lunch (at own expenses) then return to hotel. Afternoon of leisure at the hotel Beach or pool & dinner in hotel. (At own expenses)

DAY 5

In the morning transfer to Santa Maria di Leuca, the southern point of Puglia. Visit the Basilica and then walk downtown. Quick lunch. (At own expenses) Dinner at the hotel restaurant. (At own expenses)

DAY 6

Last day of leisure by the sea. In the morning transfer to Marina di Ugento and mini cruise off the coast of Salento with snacks on board. (included) Afternoon relax by the hotel beach/pool. Dinner at the hotel restaurant. (At own expenses)

DAY 7

Transfer to Lecce. Guided tour of the Baroque city. Light lunch with local street food. (At own expenses) Free afternoon for shopping. In the evening dinner at the hotel restaurant with “pizzica” exhibition (local tarantella dance). (At own expenses)

DAY 8

Check out of the hotel. Transfer to Altamura. On our way we will stop to visit the beautiful village of Ostuni and have lunch in a local restaurant. (At own expense) Late afternoon check in at our hotel Masseria San Giovanni in Altamura (or similar). Dinner at the hotel restaurant. (At own expense)

DAY 9

Discovering Altamura…

history, food, art, culture. At lunch be guests of the Basile family in their home and taste with mamma Basile and her family the Altamurani specialities. Past al Forno, grilled meat, formaggi e salumi tipici, vino e Padre Peppe! (included)

DAY 10

Transfer to Castel del Monte. Guided visit of the castle. Tasting lunch at a local cheese producer (included).

In the afternoon transfer to the city of Trani and visit the Cathedral and the cozy downtown. Dinner in a typical Altamura restaurant. (At own expenses)

DAY 11

Transfer to Bari. Guided tour of the city. Light lunch in a local restaurant. (At your own expense) Free afternoon for shopping. In the evening dinner in a typical Altamura restaurant. (At your own expense)

DAY 12

Transfer at Castellana Grotte for a guided tour of the underground caves. Light lunch in a local restaurant. (At your own expense) In the afternoon Cooking Class at our hotel with the Head Chef and dinner of what was prepared. (Included)

DAY 13

Transfer to Alberobello and visit the magical city of the Trulli. Lunch in a restaurant by the sea in Monopoli. (At your own expense) Transfer to Polignano a mare. Visit to the beautiful coastal village hometown of Domenico Modugno. Dinner in a typical restaurant in Altamura. (At your own expense)

DAY 14

Later in the morning transfer to a local winery and lunch with tasting (Included).

In the afternoon discover the astonishing beauty of the city of Matera with our expert tour guide. In the evening, dinner with Street Food in Altamura. (At your own expense)

DAY 15

Transfer to Bari Karol Woityla Airport and departure for Toronto.

RATES AND INCLUSIONS

Rates: CAN$ 6499.00 p.p., applicable taxes included

Single supplement: CAN$ 1,200.00

Deposit due at booking: CAN$ 1,200.00 per person.

Final payment (balance) : January 27th 2025

Deposit is not refundable under any circumstances, except the tour is cancelled because minimum number is not reached. The tour requires a minimum of 14 participants. If minimum numbers are not reached the tour will be cancelled and participants will receive full payment reimbursement. Once the tour has been confirmed, no refunds will be made under any circumstances for any unused sectors or sections.· if the reason for a client cancellation is covered by the client insurance policy, the client will be able to make a claim under that policy.
