2024 Tour of Amalfi Coast and Tuscany
Aug 24th to Sept 7th 15 days
Day 1 – Saturday Arrival to Rome “Leonardo da Vinci” Fiumicino airport with your own flight. Check in to our hotel in the center of Rome. Leisure afternoon Dinner in a typical Roman restaurant. (At own expenses)
Day 2 – Sunday At 8.15am, after breakfast, we will depart by bus/walking with private english speaking guide around Rome. Itinerary: , the Roman Forum, The Trajan’s Market, The Trajan’s Forum and Colosseum, Spanish Steps, Fontana di Trevi, Pantheon, Piazza Navona. Dinner in a typical Roman Restaurant (At own expenses).
Day 3 – Monday At 8.00 am. Departure for Vatican Museum, visit with private english speaking guide. At 1.00pm Check out and transfer to Sorrento (Amalfi Coast – Naples) by 20 seats minibus (Approx. 4 hours trip). Upon arrival: Check in to our accommodation Hotel in Sorrento. In the afternoon orientation tour of the old town center and dinner in a Sorrento restaurant (At own expenses).
Day 4 – Tuesday At 9:00am departure by mini-bus for a day Tour of the Amalfi Coast visiting Ravello, Amalfi and many other magic villages with wonderful panoramic views. In the evening: return to Sorrento and visit a local farm where we will see how Mozzarella is made, and for a real Pizza Napoletana experience, where some of you will have the pleasure of making it from scratch . (At own expenses)
Day 5 – Wednesday. Morning transfer to Positano for a half day of shopping and/or by the marvelous beach. Around 3:30pm return to Sorrento. Dinner at a local family owned trattoria. (At own expenses). After dinner there will be the option to go to Sorrento Theatre to watch the famous Sorrento Musical. (at own expenses)
Day 6 – Thursday At 8.00am departure for a day tour to Pompeii and Mount Vesuvio. Visit the archaeological site of Pompeii with our private English-speaking guide, then transfer to the foot of Mount Vesuvio for a visit to a local winery with light lunch and wine tasting.(Included). In the afternoon Gelato Class at Gelateria Bouganville in Sorrento. (included) Dinner in Sorrento. (At own expenses).
Day 7 – Friday Day-tour to Island of Capri. On a private boat, from Sorrento, we will reach the famous island for a stroll in the village and a dip in the deep blue sea. Light snack on the boat (Included) Around 6:00pm we will be back to our accommodation in Sorrento. Our last night in Sorrento is open for anything you would like to do.
Day 8 – Saturday Check out and transfer by Private bus to Radda in Chianti, Tuscany. Check in to our villa “Il Cornino” (or similar) Relaxing afternoon at the villa and welcome dinner by the swimming pool with food prepared by Lele (Luca’s mom) and Luca. (Included).
Day 9 – Sunday After Breakfast: Transfer to Radda in Chianti village. Visit of the town and free time for shopping. Visit the Chianti Classico Museum and lunch in the monks refrectory (At own expenses). In the afternoon, meet with the Tuscan ladies of “Tutti a tavola” cooking school for a hands-on half-day cooking session learning how to cook some typical Tuscan dishes. Evening dinner with the food prepared (Included).
Day 10 – Monday Around 10am, departure from our villa for a visit to Monteriggioni. Light lunch in local Osteria. (at own expenses) Afternoon: visiting the medieval town of San Gimignano. We will have time for shopping and for a visit to Dondoli Gelateria where we will enjoy the world’s famous “gelato” ice cream. Dinner: on our way back to our villa, at a local Wine Bar.(At own expenses).
Day 11 – Tuesday After breakfast visit the city of Siena and the major attractions of the Duomo, San Domenico and Santa Caterina’s Basilica, and Piazza del Campo with a private english speaking guide. Afternoon: scenic drive of the Crete Senesi, and visit Pienza, the Tuscan village of the famous Pecorino cheese. After a stop in Montepulciano for some wine tasting (Included) we will enjoy a dinner with homemade Pici (Typical hand-made pasta of Southern Tuscany). (At own expenses)
Day 12 – Wednesday Morning at leisure. Be lazy by the pool at the villa, or go to Radda in Chianti for some shopping. In the evening we will visit the Fattoria Le Fonti winery (Luca’s brother wine farm) tasting one of the best wine of the region. A winemaker’s dinner (included) will be served after the visit. You will be able to taste Tuscan sublime cuisine and match it with our family amazing wines.
Day 13 – Thursday After breakfast: Private transfer to Florence for a visit. In the morning: walking tour of the city with a private english speaking guide and visit to Santa Croce Cathedral, Ponte Vecchio, Piazza della Signoria. As an option, people can visit the Uffizzi Gallery instead. Afternoon: time at leisure and for shopping. In the late afternoon on our way back to the villa, we will have dinner in a typical local restaurant.(At own expenses).
Day 14 – Friday After breakfast: Chianti Classico Tour. During this day we will discover the jewels of the most famous wine region in the world, such as Greve and Panzano. Lunch to “Antica Macelleria Cecchini“ , meeting Dario, the Celebrity Butcher and tasting local meat specialties.(At own expenses). In the evening: surprise dinner-party by our swimming pool at the villa in Radda in Chianti.(Included)). .
Day 15 – Saturday Early breakfast. Check out and private transfer to the airport. Departure to your next destination

Single supplement: CAD$ 1,200.00
Deposit due at booking: CAD$ 1200.00 per person.
Final balance payment : MAY 20th 2024
Please be advised that we DO NOT ACCEPT CREDIT CARDS as payments. Accepted form of payments are cash, cheque or e-transfer.
Deposit is not refundable under any circumstances, except the tour is cancelled because minimum number is not reached. The tour requires a minimum of 12 participants. If minimum numbers are not reached the tour will be cancelled and participants will receive full payment reimbursement. Once the tour has been confirmed, no refunds will be made under any circumstances for any unused sectors or sections.· if the reason for a client cancellation is covered by the client insurance policy, the client will be able to make a claim under that policy.
Rates Include:
· Ground Transportation by air-conditioned private minibus
· Private Guide in every city (English speaking).
· Tuscan native English speaking tour manager traveling with group.
· Accommodation in hotel 3and 4 stars and/or villa including daily breakfast.
· Public transportation, tickets and fares and Museum tickets in the program.
· 4 dinners 1 lunch and 2 tastings (above indicated as Included).
· Transfer to Florence Airport on day of departure
· City Tourist tax.
