SICILY COAST TO COAST 2024
SEPTEMBER 21ST -OCTOBER 5TH 2024
DAY 1 -Arrival in Catania Fontanarossa Airport. Own Transfer to Hotel Una Palace in Catania. (or similar) http://www.unahotels.it/it/una_hotel_palace/hotel_... Dinner in typical restaurant in Catania Downtown. (at own expenses)
DAY 2 – Excursion on Mount Etna at Rifugio Sapienza (2000 mt. asl) . Light Lunch with wine tasting in a local winery (included). In the afternoon transfer to the beautiful Taormina, with guided visit to the Amphitheater . On our way back to the hotel, we will enjoy a wonderful dinner in a local restaurant (at own expenses)
DAY 3 – check out hotel, transfer to Siracusa. Visit the Archeological Park of Siracusa. Visit of the old Ortigia city and the market. In the afternoon visit the city of Noto – check in hotel Noto. http://www.villafavoritanoto.it or similar Dinner in the Hotel restaurant. (at own expenses)
DAY 4 – . Transfer to Ragusa. Cooking class and lunch at La Timpa. https://www.latimpatempoenatura.it/en/experience-l... (included) In the afternoon guided visit of the city. Later transfer to the south coast and the village of Marzamemi and dinner in a typical restaurant.(at own expenses)
DAY 5 – Check out Hotel. Transfer to Agrigento at our next Hotel Costazzurra http://www.hotelcostazzurra.it or similar Free afternoon to walk to the beach. Dinner in hotel restaurant (at own expenses)
DAY 6 – Guided Visit of the famous Temple Valley of Agrigento. In the afternoon Transfer to Selinunte for a guided tour of the Archeological site, then transfer to Marsala and check in the winery Hotel http://www.donnafranca.it/default.asp or similar. Dinner at the hotel restaurant (at own expenses)
DAY 7 – Transfer and visit to the old Saline di Marsala (salt extraction) and tour to the Island of Mozia. Light lunch in a local restaurant.(at own expenses). Return to the winery hotel. Winery Visit and Tasting dinner at the in the winery restaurant. (included)
DAY 8 - check out hotel; transfer to the amazing Erice. We will visit the city and taste the pastries of the famous Pasticceria Maria Grammatico. (included) Free time in Erice. In the afternoon transfer to San Vito Lo Capo and check in our hotel by the beach. http://www.hotelrivadelsole.it/;jsessionid=A00FF2E... or similar. Dinner in typical restaurant (at own expenses)
DAY 9 – relax by the beach. Free day. In the evening dinner in a typical restaurant. (at own expenses)
DAY 10 – boat trip around the coast with light lunch. (included). Later in the afternoon more relax by the beach. Dinner in a typical restaurant. (at own expenses)
DAY 11 - last day at leisure in wonderful San Vito Lo Capo. Time for more beach or shopping. Dinner in a typical restaurant. (at own expenses)
DAY 12 – Check out hotel. Transfer to Segesta and visit to the Archeological site. Transfer to Monreale and visit at the Cathedral; Transfer to Palermo and check in our hotel https://www.hotelpalazzositano.it/it/ or similar. Dinner in typical Palermitan restaurant. (at own expenses)
DAY 13 - walking tour of Palermo, discovering art, architecture, history, culture and amazing street food. Dinner in a typical palermitan restaurant. (at own expenses)
DAY 14– Last day in Palermo, day for shopping and stroll around Palermo downtown. Dinner is free for you to do whatever you want.
DAY 15 - Own transfer to Palermo Punta Raisi Airport and departure for Toronto or your next destination
Rates: CAN$ 6299.00 p.p., applicable taxes included
Single supplement: CAN$ 1,200.00
Deposit due at booking: CAN$ 1,200.00 per person.
Final payment balance : June 24th 2024
Deposit is not refundable under any circumstances, except the tour is cancelled because minimum number is not reached. The tour requires a minimum of 14 participants. If minimum numbers are not reached the tour will be cancelled and participants will receive full payment reimbursement. Once the tour has been confirmed, no refunds will be made under any circumstances for any unused sectors or sections.· if the reason for a client cancellation is covered by the client insurance policy, the client will be able to make a claim under that policy.
Rates Include:
· Ground Transportation by air-conditioned private bus.
· Private Guide when required (English speaking).
· Tuscan native English speaking tour manager traveling with group.
· Accommodation in hotel 3 and 4 stars including daily breakfast.
· Tickets and fares and Museum tickets in the program.
· Lunch, tastings and activities (above indicated as Included).
· City Tourist tax. (average 2,5 euros per day per person)
Rates do not include:
· Flight
· Transfers to and from the airports
• Dinners/lunches at local restaurants specifically indicated as "at own expenses"
Insurance (Medical, cancellation, interruption) also available but not included.
